Sandfalls Overview

Sandfalls is a sand-flow region reached from the cave network southwest of Southern Outskirts. Bombs are central to opening blocked routes, and the lower path through the area leads toward Miner's Den and Bone Beach.

How to Reach Sandfalls

From Southern Outskirts, take the cave network on the southwest side of the region. After the cave section, the route opens into Sandfalls. If you are approaching from Ossex, Southern Outskirts is the useful regional reference to check first.

How to Get from Sandfalls to Bone Beach

Progress through Sandfalls by using the available bombs to destroy obstacles and open the downward route. The path through the Miner's Den side of Sandfalls continues directly into Bone Beach.

If Bone Beach is your destination, do not leave the region after finding the Ring Dive Parlor: continue opening the lower route until the Sandfalls path carries you into the southeast area.

Sandy Station (the “Bone Beach Train Station”)

Sandy Station belongs to Sandfalls. It is south of Sifted Sands: clear the southeast TNT route and take the newly opened path south to reach the station. Some guides call it the “Bone Beach Train Station” because it is the train stop serving this end of the Bone Beach route, but the station itself should not be counted as a Bone Beach entity.

The train network uses one shared restoration fund. Once a total of 10,000 Bones has been donated at the stations, train travel becomes available between discovered stations and provides the initial route to Coltrane Peak.

Where Sandfalls Ends and Bone Beach Begins

Major Miner remains a Sandfalls boss at Miner's Den. Enter the central mine with 3 Plasma Vials, defeat Major Miner, then continue through the exit to enter Bone Beach. For database purposes, Sandy Station and Major Miner stay under Sandfalls.

A few transition screens are genuinely ambiguous in the game. The current Wiki notes that the Shoreline Generator / Bone Rush Trail screen can identify as Sandfalls or Bone Beach depending on the direction of entry. This site therefore assigns collectibles by their current item/location data rather than by visual proximity to the border.
