Sandfalls All Collectibles Guide

Clear Sandfalls without running the same sand routes three times. This guide follows one practical route through the Fish, Niter Belt puzzle, Ring Dive Parlor, hidden upgrades, five Bonestones, Blaise's race, the post-Bone Beach Kear, and the easy-to-miss train Trinket.

Last updated: — Route order and Sandfalls train reward verified.

Quick Sandfalls Completion Summary

The main Sandfalls cleanup route contains five Bonestones, three Locks, one Fish, one Kear, one Vial Pouch, one Joule Box, the Angler's Raft upgrade, and two Trinkets found directly in the region. A third Trinket is attached to the Sandfalls train route.

Important: Bellows Bustle is not awarded for the Sandfalls race alone. Sandfalls is one of three Blaise races. Complete the races in Sandfalls, Ossex, and Western Wilds to receive the Trinket.

Before You Start

Sandfalls uses bombs, moving sand, burrow holes, Locks, and a few routes that are much easier with mobility tools. Bring enough resources before entering the central Miner's Den.

Sandfalls Cleanup Progress

Trinkets and Angler's Raft share progress with the main 100% Checklist. The other Sandfalls tasks use the same local save.

Optimal Sandfalls Cleanup Route

Start at the Mining Passage exit and move through Sifted Sands before entering the Miner's Den. The route below keeps each bomb detour close to the next collectible.

1

Entrance Water — Catch the Bouncy Puffy

At the beginning of Sandfalls, break the wall to the left of the cave entrance. Go up the revealed stairs and fish in the water at the top. The fish is Bouncy Puffy; its Fish Board trophy is the Puffer Beak.

2

First Bomb — Open Lock #1

From the entrance, head down and right. Burrow under the bomb to pick it up, then throw it at the TNT minecart above. The explosion opens the route to the first locked cave.

3

Bomb Puzzle Cave — Niter Belt and Two Bonestones

Inside the locked cave, climb the right side and release the bomb. Use the switches to shift the narrow sand strips and guide the bomb toward the three breakable sections at the bottom.

Break the left and right sections for the two Bonestone rewards. Break the middle section, then follow the opened route north to collect Niter Belt.

Do not leave after opening only the middle path. The two side rewards are easy to miss during a normal story run.

4

Ring Dive Parlor — Earn Tunneling Codex

Leave the puzzle cave and use the gap south of the earlier bomb. Drop from the ledge near the NPC's house and enter the hole leading to the Ring Dive Parlor.

Pay 100 Bones to play Ring Diver. Burrow into and emerge through the centers of the rings, protect your combo, and score 5,000 points to earn Tunneling Codex.

5

Moving Platform Burrow — Lock #2 and Vial Pouch

Go to the bottom of the main Sifted Sands area. On the right side of the raised platform with a bomb, watch the moving platforms pass underneath. Burrow into the hidden opening as a platform carries you below it.

6

Western Minecart Route — Bonestone #3

Take the bomb above the Vial Pouch route and send it left on the moving platforms just before it explodes. Once the minecarts are destroyed, ride the reopened platforms west.

Continue through the enemy rooms and use the next bombs to clear the linked minecarts. The chest containing Bonestone #3 is reached on the left side of this route.

7

Hidden Western Wall — Bonestone #4

Continue upward from Bonestone #3 until you reach another bomb. Carry it back down the left side and throw it into the wall below the small tunnels. The blast reveals a hidden route on the west.

8

Lower Western Route — Lock #3 and Bonestone #5

Follow the path left of the previous Bonestone to find the third Lock. Open it, then continue and use the ropes leading down to the next chest.

This route can also be approached later from the shop tent near the Bone Beach border by opening the breakable wall and following the pipe back toward Sandfalls.

9

Water Chest — Unlock Angler's Raft

From the Bonestone #5 route, climb back up one rope and head right toward the water. Open the chest to unlock Angler's Raft.

Angler's Raft is paired with the Fishing Rod. Equip the Fishing Rod and use it while airborne to deploy the raft; it is not a separate Sidearm pickup that appears repeatedly in the world.

10

Second Bomb Cave — Joule Box

Return to the bomb used near the western hidden wall. Throw it upward into the moving sand so the blast destroys the sealed cave entrance. Defeat the large skull enemy inside and open the chest on the right.

11

Sandy Station — Win the Sandfalls Blaise Race

Clear the southeast minecarts to open the route to Sandy Station. Speak with Blaise and win the Sandfalls race.

This checks only the Sandfalls race. Bellows Bustle is awarded after all three Blaise races, so the global Trinket is not automatically marked complete here.

12

Miner's Den — Finish the Main Sandfalls Route

After clearing the remaining minecarts, return to the central building. Pay 3 Plasma Vials to enter the Miner's Den, follow the narrow passage, and defeat Major Miner.

Major Miner is required for progression into Bone Beach, but the boss is not included in the 17 collectible tasks on this page.

13

Post-Bone Beach Return — Collect the Kear

After completing the Bone Beach section, return to the Sandfalls house where the NPC previously sat outside. Defeat the creature outside the house to collect the Kear.

14

Train Route — Buy Volatile Beastium from Vitas

If the All-Seeing Skull still marks a missing Trinket at the Sandfalls train station, board the train for the route between Bone Beach and Nox's Bayou.

During the journey, move through the passenger carriage and meet Vitas on the platform between the carriage and the locomotive. Purchase Volatile Beastium from him for 700 Bones.

Last Missing Item Diagnosis

Use the in-game Enhanced Map or All-Seeing Skull first, then check the most common Sandfalls misses below.

What appears missing Check first Why players miss it
Trinket at Sandy Station Volatile Beastium Vitas sells it only while the train is traveling between Bone Beach and Nox's Bayou.
One field Trinket Niter Belt or Tunneling Codex Niter Belt is behind a bomb puzzle; Tunneling Codex requires 5,000 points in Ring Diver.
One Bonestone Bonestone #4 or #5 Both sit on western routes opened by bombs, hidden walls, ropes, or the Bone Beach tent shortcut.
Two Bonestones The Niter Belt puzzle cave Players often open only the middle reward path and leave the two side sections untouched.
One permanent upgrade Vial Pouch or Joule Box The Vial Pouch is below a moving platform; the Joule Box cave must be opened with a bomb.
Fishing-related item Bouncy Puffy or Angler's Raft The Fish is above the entrance; the Raft is in a water chest off the lower western route.
Kear after the story route Return to the NPC house The encounter appears after completing the Bone Beach section.

Sandfalls Boundary and Global Reward Notes

Bellows Bustle

The Sandfalls race is only one step. Complete Blaise's races in Sandfalls, Ossex, and Western Wilds to earn Bellows Bustle .

Polyp Lamp

Some lists label Polyp Lamp as Sandfalls because the shop route connects back into the region. The merchant is in the adjacent Bone Beach tent route, so this page does not count it among the core Sandfalls tasks.

Volatile Beastium

This Trinket is physically purchased on the train, but the missing item indicator can appear at Sandy Station. That is why it remains part of this Sandfalls cleanup page.

Sandfalls Collectibles FAQ

Can Sandfalls be completed on the first visit?

Most of it can, but the Kear near the NPC house requires a return after completing the Bone Beach section. The Volatile Beastium train purchase also depends on using the correct route and meeting Vitas during the journey.

What is the missing Trinket at the Sandfalls train station?

It is usually Volatile Beastium. Take the train route between Bone Beach and Nox's Bayou, then meet Vitas between the passenger carriage and the locomotive.

How do I get Tunneling Codex?

Enter the Ring Dive Parlor and score 5,000 points in Ring Diver. Stay near the centers of the rings and protect the combo instead of chasing every risky ring.

Why did the Sandfalls race not give me Bellows Bustle?

The reward requires all three Blaise races. Winning only the Sandfalls race completes the Sandfalls step but does not finish the full race chain.

Is Angler's Raft a separate Sidearm?

It is tracked as a Sidearm form or fishing upgrade, but it works with the Fishing Rod. Equip the Fishing Rod and use it while airborne to deploy the raft.

Does this checklist save progress?

Yes. Progress is stored locally in the current browser. Trinket and Angler's Raft entries use the same IDs as the main 100% Checklist.
